Fresh off the Painting Table

On a rare sunny (although windy) day in this stormy week I have taken some quick shots of the first of the French line infantry battalions for the Crimean War project that I finished yesterday. 

These are Great War Miniatures. They are great little figures with lots of character.

This is the first of three battalions in this batch that will make up the first regiment.

The second regiment, that will be ordered in July, will probably be in shakos.
